2. Scariest book cover, like ever? | As a kid, those Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark books would really freak me out. Not so much the covers, but the illustrations inside. Some scary stuff for a young, underdeveloped mind. Look at some of this shit and tell me you're not creeped out at least a little. There are spiders coming out of her damn face! |
3. If you could go trick-or-treating with any author, who would you pick? | Tough one. I'm super shy and they're a stranger, so that's not something I would really do. But if I were somehow in a group of friends plus the author, I think I'd like to pick J. K. Rowling because you can tell by her Harry Potter stories that this is a girl who likes her candy. She'd probably turn up with the most unique candy as well. Plus, you can tell based off of her personality on Twitter that she would be a lot of fun to hang out with. |
4. If you could dress up as any bookish character for Halloween, who would you be? | Strangely enough, the first character that popped into my head was Celaena Sardothien from Throne of Glass, so it must be fate. I choose her! She's such a badass but she's got such style and class. I think it would be a lot of fun to be her for a night. Plus, she loves her sweets, so it's perfect. You can go for the hard ass look (on the left) or the elegant option (above). BTW, how perfect is the girl on the left's Celaena costume? 100% is the answer. |
5. If you could find anything (from any book) in your trick-or-treat stash, what would you hope to find?
6. In what fictional world would you like to go trick-or-treating?
7. What book villain would you not like to meet alone in a dark alley on Halloween? Also wouldn't want to meet a Balrog of Mordor either. #ijustshitmypants | Honestly? Any of them. lol Either way I'm going to end up murdered. But if I had to pick one, I guess I'd go with Satan from The Bible. Dude has got to be hands down the most evil villain ever invented. I mean, they're almost the same thing, looking at them side by side. Fire + horns = one scared shitless me. |
8. Would you rather dress up as a vampire, zombie, werewolf or Shadowhunter? | Okay, first of all: Shadowhunters are lame... and way too sexy for me to ever achieve that look. Second of all: Where is the option for witch? Witches are my FAVORITE mythical being. Love em. Out of these options, I would choose vampire because they have some pretty dresses that I would love to wear for a night. |
9. Pick a candy from Harry Potter that you would love to find in your stash? | I always thought that chocolate frogs were really cool for three reasons: 1. They're CHOCOLATE 2. They come with cool wizard cards 3. They're animated. Candy that moves! I know that they sell them in real life but IT'S NOT THE SAME!! |
10. What is your favorite Halloween candy? If we're talking chocolate, my favorite candy bar is the Milky Way Midnight. I never thought much of Milky Ways until they added dark chocolate. OMG. Talk about a mouth orgasm. If you haven't had one, do yourself a favorite and get one. But good luck finding them. Hardly any stores seem to actually sell them with the regular candy bars at the checkout area. | How do I pick just one? How!?! Screw it. I'll pick three. Every year at fall, I HAVE to get those caramel apple lollipops. It's a fall law. Look it up. This is the only lollipop worth having. Trust me. Another Halloween specific treat that makes the season real for me is Kathy Kaye's popcorn balls. They're so delicate and delicious. Way better than all the other popcorn balls I've ever had. |
