Can you believe there's less than seven weeks left in the year? This week's topic is all about those last few books I hope to squeeze in before the new year. I read Strange the Dreamer the day it came out and loved it. It's my top priority to finish this series before the end of the year. I will probably have to reread book one before getting to this though, since it's been over a year and a half. I promise this whole list won't be Laini Taylor. I've owned this trilogy for close to two years now and I've actually never read it before, even though it's been on my radar for maybe four or five years. I don't know what's holding me back. I'm sure I'll love it. This is another one that I got interested in YEARS ago but never read it. I think I definitely want to get to it this year in the winter. I'm not so sure it'll still be of the same interest to me now at 24 years old as it would have been three years ago when it first came out. I've been more interested in adult fiction this year and this is one of the few I own still on my TBR. Since adult fiction is more expensive, I tend to just borrow those from the library. This seems like the perfect late fall kind of read I'm looking for. As a dog lover, I feel like this is required reading. I remember owning this a few times as a child, and once again now as an adult, yet I still haven't read it. Put me in time out if 2019 comes and I still haven't read this.
