In first place with a whopping 29.7% of all votes was Heartless by Marissa Meyer. I am stoked that this won because no matter what I was planning on reading this in February anyway.
In second place we have Wintersong by S. Jae Jones. I just got this book last month in a major Book Outlet haul but I've been excited to read it since before it came out. Hopefully I will enjoy it and then the library will get in book 2, Shadowsong, that comes out this month.
In third place is a book that I preordered and hasn't even come out yet: The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton. This book looks so good to me. I'm really hoping not to end up disappointed. Also really hoping that Target doesn't screw up this preorder (like they have in the past) and I actually get to read it this month.
In fourth place is a book that has intimidated me since I've gotten it - Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. This one's been on my TBR for about a year now and I really want to read it but it looks so THICK and beefy. I need to really commit to reading it.
And, finally, in fifth place, we have Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welsh. I got this book last February, hoping to read it for Valentine's day. Unfortunately, by the time I got it, Valentine's day had already passed and so I figured I'd wait till next year. I can't believe it, but it's already next year! This looks like a cute, quick read.
I also decided to add one more book to this list (even though it came in 7th place in the poll) because I really do want to cross this one off my TBR pile this month. That book is Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum.
In January, I went really heavy on the fantasy, something that takes a lot out of me for some reason. So hopefully in comparison, February will be a breeze with all these light and fluffy contemporaries. Here's to an amazing reading month! What's on your February TBR?
