Not counting any books that I've gotten for free, the cheapest book I own is a book that I got at a yard sale for 17 cents. (What up with the random price? It was 6 for a dollar.) It's called Life Is But A Dream by Brian James and it was surprisingly good! It's about a girl with schizophrenia and I found it enlightening. Definitely a well researched book. 4/5 Stars. Would recommend.
I'm going to have to go with Sarah J. Maas on this one. I LOVED the first two books in the Throne of Glass series. Like, a lot! But then she changed the whole direction of the story and I swear some of the things that she writes is written just to spite me. Fae and me don't get along and in the last few years, she's become more and more fae obsessed. I liked it better when the people were human. Sue me! Plus the over-the-top sex scenes are just laughable to me. But, hey, look how pretty she is!
I think that the award for most reread books of all time, for me, goes to the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer. I think I reread that series about 4 or 5 times in the span of 2 or 3 years. That's extreme, I know, but I was a preteen girl. It's practically required reading at that age. Haven't reread it since around 2008, but I think I'm going to reread it again this year. Oh boy. Time to find out how stupid I was as a kid. This should be fun! ;)
Um, a lot of them. For this one, I'm going to have to go with my Charles Dickens bind up that I got at a yard sale for 33 cents last year. (Oh, look. Another weird price.) That book is THICK AF! And we all know how dense his stories are. I'm daunted. But I do want to get to them... eventually. Look at the pretty LOTR-looking leaves on it!
I don't do this. Mainly because I don't have anyone to talk to about books irl. The book that I gab on and on about most, though, is Lord of the Rings. I'm sorry, but that book is perfection and if you don't agree, we can't be friends. lol You can say whatever you want about any book in the world, but don't talk shit about LOTR around me. You'll be dead to me. xD
If I was going to talk about a book in order to sound smart, though, I'd probably talk about the classics I've read. Let people see how smart and cultured I am, right? :P
6. LUST - What attributes do you find attractive in male characters?
For some reason, nothing gets me more than protectiveness in a male character. When Edward swoops in to rescue a helpless Bella, I swoon. When Peeta is willing to die so that Katniss doesn't have too, I'm mush. When a dude puts his lady first, I'm a goner. I also like a bit of chivalry. I'm looking at you, Chaol. ;)
7. ENVY - What book would you most like to receive as a gift?
I've had my eye on Wicked Like A Wildfire by Lana Popovic for a few weeks now. It's just so pretty and the synopsis sounds so good. I've heard mixed things on Goodreads, though, so I'm hesitant. I think I want it for Christmas, if the library doesn't get it in by then. I'll probably be gifting it to myself eventually.
