What books have been sitting on your shelf mocking you relentlessly for ages?
1. Sherlock Friggin Holmes
2. The Mistborn Trilogy
3. Daughter of Smoke & Bone Trilogy
4. Anne of Green Gables
I picked this book up so many times last year and felt like, "Hmm, maybe I should read this soon!" But then, lo and behold, some other book would jump out from my shelf and scream, "PICK ME, BITCH! LOOK HOW PRETTY MY COVER IS!" and I would shake and say, "Yes, master. Take my soul as well." But I never read Anne. |
5. Rebecca
At this point, I'm just failing at life. I want to read Rebecca. Like, very badly. Yet I don't read it. I am a living and breathing oxymoron. I clearly don't deserve books. I neglect them and treat them so badly. They're probably all suffering from PTSD at this point. Poor, lonesome, unread books. :( |
