1. Jasper HaleFrom The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer. I've gotta admit, this one probably started because of the hot actor that played him in the movie adaptations (Jackson Rathbone). Either way, as a tween, I was definitely on Team Jasper. Apart from being hot, Jasper also has the power to control the emotions of those around him. That could have definitely come in handy back then when I first started experiencing severe anxiety. Hot and useful. Good combo. |
2. Edward CullenFrom The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. Did I mention that I mainly just kept rereading Twilight when I was younger? Yikes. lol This will be the last Twilight reference of the day, I promise. Anyway, I found Edward to be very attractive because of the way that he would swoop in and protect Bella. He was so devoted to her and so passionate, my young, naive little heart was putty in his ice cold hands. It didn't get any more romantic to me back in the day than the love that Edward and Bella shared. |
3. Peeta MellarkFrom The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I first read The Hunger Games when I was around 19 or so. A little late to the game, since the first two movies had already come out, but better late than never right? In the books can be found the most amazing book boyfriend of all time: Peeta Mellark. This dude is boyfriend goals. He would literally sacrifice anything and everything for the girl he loves. Other people hated the epilogue in THG, but I personally adored it so much because of the sweetness between Peeta and Katniss. |
4. Frodo BagginsFrom The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien Ah, Frodo, the most handsome hobbit in all of the Shire. Frodo of the Nine Fingers. He was described by Gandalf as "a stout fellow with red cheeks, taller than some hobbits, and fairer than most, with a cleft chin, a bright eye, and a perky personality." CUTE! Plus, he was brave and resilient, and by the end of the book, he is damaged and I just want to hug him and make him whole again, but I simply cannot. |
5. Jesse TuckFrom Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt I very vaguely remember being smitten with Jesse Tuck from Tuck Everlasting in middle school. He was cute. He was kind and he could literally live forever. That's 3/5 out of my list that are immortal. lol What is wrong with me? The only "normal" human on this list was Peeta. I remember we had to watch the movie in English class after we finished the book and all of the girls were like drooling. Oh, puberty! |
